Post All the best Jonah!
Just read that he has dound a compatible kidney donor, and that this should restore him to full health and maybe a return to AB colours. I wish him well, and that all will mean a return to the game of one of rugby's legends. And hes a nice bloke as well!

Good luck to him.

HOWEVER.....

A kidney transplant is effectively being given a second chance at life - Rugby can potentially damage the kidneys and im half wondering about the wisdom of potentially risking everything for what is only a sport at the end of the day.

I'm thrilled for him and hope he sticks around for a bit yet.

I don't want to see him play again though, too scary.

I think what Richard is trying to say is that it would be a major risk playing a contact sport like rugby having had a kidney transplant, as one hit in the wrong place could place him back to square 1.

I hope he makes a full recovery!

That is what i meant, hes doing it to live yes and im not sure risking this second-chance by playing high level rugby is worth it or not.

Its his decision though obviously.
