I'm not sure. I think it was common practrice to raffle match balls off at the end of a game.

I confess I wasthere when they beat new zealand, australia twice , fiji but I also recall this occasion too, the night the pubs didnt run dry ahh the wondrous ab's side of 1997 when cullen jogged in 5 tries and won 81-3 at stradey parc i can proudly say I WAS THERE

I'd buy it. That ball was probably even more historically significant in some ways - that was the last time the All Blacks played a club side. Yet another milestone for Llanelli.
